Welcome to the 24th Thessaloniki International G.L.A.D. Film Festival (english text follows below)
Tο 24ο ΛΟΑΤΚΙ+ διαγωνιστικό «Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Θεσσαλονίκης GLAD Ταινιών» (γκέι – λεσβιακό – ασύμμετρο – ποικιλόμορφο) θα πραγματοποιηθεί από τις 5 ως 9 Οκτωβρίου 2022 (Τετάρτη ως Κυριακή), στην αίθουσα προβολών Τζον Κασσαβέτης, στην Αποθήκη 1, στο Λιμάνι (Θεσσαλονίκη). Οι προβολές θα γίνονται στις 6:00μμ (εκτός Τετάρτης και Πέμπτης), καθώς και στις 7.45 μμ και 9.30 μμ.
Το φεστιβάλ διοργανώνεται από την εθελοντική, αστική μη κερδοσκοπική εταιρία «Σύμπραξη για το Κοινωνικό Φύλο». Το Υπουργείο Πολιτισμού και Αθλητισμού επιχορηγεί το φεστιβάλ, ενώ το στηρίζουν: το Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου Θεσσαλονίκης (ανελλιπώς από το 1999), το Ευρωπαϊκό Σώμα Αλληλεγγύης / Ίδρυμα Νεολαίας και δια Βίου Μάθησης, Η Νορβηγική Πρεσβεία στην Αθήνα, η Πρεσβεία της Σουηδίας στην Αθήνα και το Γαλλικό Ινστιτούτου Θεσσαλονίκης / το Γαλλικό Σχολείο στη Θεσσαλονίκη. Επίσης χορηγοί επικοινωνίας είναι ο ραδιοφωνικός σταθμός «Στο Κόκκινο», το περιοδικό Antivirus, το περιοδικό Τ-ΖΙΝΕ, η Λεσβιακή Ομάδα Θεσσαλονίκης και η Ενωμένες Κοινωνίες Βαλκανίων.
Θα προβληθούν 28 ταινίες: 9 μεγάλου μήκους και 19 μικρού μήκους, μυθοπλασίας και ντοκιμαντέρ. Οι ξένες ταινίες θα έχουν ελληνικούς υπότιτλους, οι ελληνικές θα έχουν αγγλικούς υπότιτλους.
Οι προβολές θα πλαισιωθούν από συζήτηση με άτομα που σκηνοθέτησαν τις ταινίες και προσκλήθηκαν να συζητήσουν. Μια συζήτηση για τον ιό HIV και το AIDS θα προσφέρουν οι Ενωμένες Κοινωνίες Βαλκανίων.
Θα απονεμηθούν βραβεία κοινού στην καλύτερη ταινία μεγάλου μήκους και στην καλύτερη ταινία μικρού μήκους.
Επίσης, στο φουαγέ / προθάλαμο των αιθουσών προβολής, θα πραγματοποιηθεί η εικαστική έκθεση του ζωγράφου Ανδρέα Παύλου, της φωτογράφου Φαίδρας Λεφάκη και έκθεση αφίσας διεθνών ΛΟΑΤΚΙ φεστιβάλ.
Το κοινό θα δει, θα συζητήσει και θα ψηφίσει για τι ταινίες, όπως αυτές παρατίθενται στο Πρόγραμμα.
Το εισιτήριο ανέρχεται σε 5 ευρώ. Την Πέμπτη, 6.10.2022, ένα εισιτήριο θα ισχύει για δύο άτομα. Εισιτήριο των 30 ευρώ δίνει δικαίωμα εισόδου σε όλες τις προβολές και ΔΕΝ συνδυάζεται με την παροχή της Πέμπτης (6.10.2022) που με ένα εισιτήριο δίνει δικαίωμα εισόδου σε δύο άτομα.

Στο ταμείο δεν είναι δυνατή η χρήση POS.

Welcome to the 24th Thessaloniki International G.L.A.D. Film Festival
The 24th LGBTI+ competition “Thessaloniki International GLAD Film Festival” (gay – lesbian – asymmetric – diverse) will take place from October 5 to 9, 2022 (Wednesday to Sunday), in the John Cassavetes screening hall, Warehouse 1, in the Port (Thessaloniki). Screenings will take place at 6:00 pm (except Wednesday and Thursday), as well as at 7:45 pm and 9:30 pm.
The festival is organized by the voluntary, civil non-profit corporation “Partnership for Gender Issues”. The Ministry of Culture and Sports grants the festival, while it is supported by: the Thessaloniki Film Festival (continuously since 1999), the European Solidarity Corps / Foundation for Youth and Lifelong Learning, the Norwegian Embassy in Athens, the Embassy of Sweden in Athens and the French Institute of Thessaloniki / the French School in Thessaloniki. Also sponsors of communication are the radio station “Sto Kokkino”, the Antivirus magazine, the T-ZINE magazine, the Lesbian Group of Thessaloniki and the United Societies of the Balkans.
28 films will be screened: 9 features and 19 shorts, fiction and documentaries. Foreign films will have Greek subtitles, Greek films will have English subtitles.
The screenings will be accompanied by a discussion with people who directed the films and are invited to discuss. A discussion on HIV and AIDS will be offered by the United Balkan Societies.
There will be audience awards for the Best Feature Film and the Best Short Film.
Also, in the foyer / vestibule of the screening rooms, there will be an art exhibition by the painter Andreas Pavlou, the photographer Phaedra Lefakis, and a poster exhibition of international LGBTI festivals.
The audience will see, discuss and vote on what films are listed in the Schedule.
The ticket costs 5 euros. On Thursday, 6.10.2022, one ticket will be valid for two people. . A ticket of 30 euros entitles entry to all screenings and is NOT combined with the offer on Thursday (6.10.2022) which with one ticket entitles entry to two people.
